Hello Candice and Kitty,
I so appreciated reading your book. I have been laid off for more than a
year and am still looking for full time work. Having a degree doesn't
give you the edge anymore but I am not giving up. I tell myself I won't
give up at least once a week! Its tough out here and alot of people just
don't understand. Even though I am still looking for my deepest passion
and have read plenty of self help books, its still hard to pin point
that perfect job that is going to make me so satisfied with my life.
Though I have worked side jobs, even applied for jobs I thought I would
never do, no one is still hiring me. But it was awesome to read a book
like yours that was so positive and lead me to all these awesome new
sites I never even heard of. I am not giving up, I am staying positive,
and I thanked my old boss for firing me because I would have still been
miserable at my old job. At least now I have a chance to see what is out
there, volunteer and finally MAKE THAT DIFFERENCE :)
